Unit Gloria

Heavy metal band from São Paulo Gloria will open the night at World Stage on September 25th in Rock in Rio. Considered, since 2006, the biggest underground band in Brazil, Gloria is bound to get the audience's attention at Rock in Rio: their mix of heavy music with a melodic tone gives them an edge from other bands. Other bands confirmed to play that day are Metallica, Motörhead, Slipknot and Coheed and Cambria.

The band was formed in 2002 and has four albums out, released by independent labels and on released by Arsenal/Universal Music that brings the band's name. The single “Minha Paz” was amongst the four most sold singles a month after its release. Its members are Mi (vocals), Elliot (guitar/vocals), Peres (guitar), João (bass) e Fil (drums) and they account for more than 1 million downloads at Tramavirtual.
