Fan Launch Events and Ticket Information

On Monday, September 28, the band hosted special launch events at Wembley Stadium in London, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and in Sao Paulo, Brazil. These events allowed fans to be among the first to secure tickets at stadium box offices. The celebrations featured a visual spectacular, including a 30-foot-high flaming tribal S logo. In Sao Paulo, new drummer Eloy Casagrande performed a thunderous set in front of the fiery installation. The first 500 ticket purchasers at these events received a free event poster with exclusive art.

The Artist Presale begins on Tuesday, September 29, at 10 AM local time, followed by a Knotfest Presale at 12 PM local time. General public ticket sales will commence on Friday, October 2, at 10 AM local time via the band's official website.

New Music and Lineup Changes

The tour announcement follows the release of "Arsenal," the band's first new song in over three years and their first release on their own (sic)est Records label. The track features frontman Corey Taylor chanting, "Let's go, let's go, let's go," and includes the lyrics:

"I got a lot to f—ing say / And if you didn’t listen, you didn’t hear me anyway."

— Corey Taylor

Taylor described the new single as a high-intensity experience during an interview with BBC Radio 1:

"It pummels. It is absolutely a pummeling experience. One of my favorite things about it is it kind of encapsulates everything that we do. It's got these great moments of hyperactivity, and then at the end, man, there's this sublime drop that just makes it. It's like we've got everyone by the hair, and we're just going, 'Go! Go!' That, to me, sums up SLIPKNOT completely."

— Corey Taylor

Guitarist Jim Root addressed fan feedback regarding the single on social media, clarifying that "Arsenal" is a standalone release and not part of the upcoming album the band is currently developing. When asked if he was upset by criticism of the song, Root replied:

"It depends on the commenter, really. I mean, what's their band doing?"

— Jim Root

Regarding the song's connection to a new album, he stated:

"'Arsenal' was a tune we could quickly get out there while we work on the rest of the record. It's not really representative of the other tunes."

— Jim Root

"No. This was just one that we could finish 'sooner' to get out there."

— Jim Root

The current lineup features new drummer Eloy Casagrande, who replaced Jay Weinberg. This follows the departures of longtime members Sid Wilson and Craig Jones. The band's last live performance took place on July 19, 2025, at the Inkcarceration music festival in Ohio.

Historical Success

Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, Slipknot has become one of the most commercially successful metal acts in history. Their most recent album, 2022's "The End, So Far," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while its predecessor, 2019's "We Are Not Your Kind," marked their third consecutive No. 1 debut on that chart. The band has earned a Grammy Award and 11 nominations throughout their career.
