Drake Performs ICEMAN Tracks at Don Toliver Toronto Show

Surprise Guest Appearance in Toronto

On Monday night, the Scotiabank Arena audience witnessed a surprise set as Drake joined Don Toliver during the Toronto stop of the OCTANE World Tour. Emerging from a stage structure inspired by the Mount Wilson Observatory, the artist known as the 6 God performed a medley of tracks from his recent Billboard 200-topping album, ICEMAN. This appearance marked the first time these songs were performed in an arena setting since the project’s release.

The surprise mini-set included the tracks “Shabang,” “Burning Bridges,” and the chart-topping single “Janice STFU.” The performance served as a "test drive" for the new material, providing fans with a preview of what to expect when the rapper eventually returns to headlining his own tour. The Toronto native has not toured North America since his It’s All a Blur Tour in 2023.

Exchange of Appreciation on Stage

Following the performance, both artists shared words of mutual respect in front of the sold-out crowd. Toliver, who has seen significant success within the R&B and hip-hop genres this year, gave Drake his "flowers" for his role in moving the genre forward and serving as a major influence.

Record-Breaking Chart Achievements

The live debut of the ICEMAN tracks follows a historic run on the Billboard charts. In May, Drake became the first artist in history to simultaneously occupy the top three slots of the Billboard 200 with his albums ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR. ICEMAN specifically spent numerous weeks at No. 1, marking the rapper's 15th chart-topping album. This achievement allowed him to surpass Jay-Z for the record of the most No. 1 albums by any rap artist.

The single “Janice STFU” also secured a major milestone by debuting at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100. This marked Drake’s 14th Hot 100 chart-topper, allowing him to pass Michael Jackson as the male solo artist with the most Number One singles in the history of the chart. Additionally, ICEMAN joined Kendrick Lamar’s GNX as the only rap albums in history to have every track chart on the Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks.

While fans await a formal announcement regarding a new North American tour, Drake has been teasing the release of another project titled FOMO before the conclusion of the year. Don Toliver, meanwhile, continues the Nitrous leg of his OCTANE World Tour. Toliver kicked off 2026 in January with the release of OCTANE, which earned him his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
