Smokie» возвращается в Крокус Сити Холл с грандиозным юбилейным концертом 19 октября 2023 года!
45 лет назад, осенью 1975 года, два первых альбома «Smokie» – Pass It Around и Changing All The Time покорили хит-парады Европы, а синглы «If You Think You Know How To Love Me» и «Don’t Play Your Rock’n’roll To Me» вошли в Top-10 чартов Великобритании и оставались там 9 недель, позволив группе стать одной из самых популярных в 70-е.
Рок-н-ролльные долгожители «Smokie» до сих пор остаются в Европе одной из самых гастролирующих британских групп. За свою 45-летнюю карьеру коллектив собрал внушительную коллекцию серебряных, золотых и платиновых дисков за разошедшиеся миллионными тиражами по всему миру альбомы с такими хитами, как «Oh Carol», «Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone», «What Can I Do», и, конечно же, самый знаменитый «Living Next Door To Alice». Выпустив в этом тысячелетии шесть новых альбомов, «Smokie» продолжают собирать многотысячные залы своих старых и новых поклонников. Российским фанатам легендарной группы предоставляется ещё один случай увидеть артистов собственными глазами 19 октября 2023 года в Крокус Сити Холле.

Smokie is an English pop rock band from Bradford who found success in Europe and the U.S. in the 70s. They formed in 1966 in Yorkshire, England and did some early records under the name "Smokey". The band broke into the mainstream after teaming up with songwriters Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, artists known for also working with Pat Benatar and Sweet among others. Smokie is perhaps best known for "Living Next Door to Alice", one of their top hits that was a U.K. top 5 single.
