Fontaines D.C. is an Irish post-punk band that formed in Dublin in 2014. The group, which has since relocated to London, consists of Grian Chatten on vocals, Carlos O'Connell and Conor Curley on guitar, Conor Deegan III on bass, and Tom Coll on drums.
The members met while studying music, discovering a shared passion for poetry that became a foundational element of their artistic expression. Initially, the band self-released singles and built a following through consistent live performances. Their efforts led to a record deal with Partisan Records in 2018.
