Albert Lee, born December 21, 1943, in Leominster, Herefordshire, England, is widely recognized as a guitarist's guitarist. His career began in the UK with Chris Farlowe & the Thunderbirds, followed by a stint with Heads Hands & Feet. Lee later relocated to the United States, where he collaborated with The Crickets and Emmylou Harris's Hot Band. The early 1980s saw him working with Eric Clapton, and he maintained a long-standing association with The Everly Brothers, performing with them for over two decades.
Lee first achieved commercial success as the lead guitarist for Chris Farlowe and the Thunderbirds. After leaving the band in 1968, he joined Heads Hands & Feet, remaining with them until their dissolution in 1973.
