David Bisbal

David Bisbal Ferre is a prominent Spanish pop singer and Latin Grammy Award winner who rose to international prominence in the early 2000s. Born on June 5, 1979, in Almería, Spain, Bisbal first captured the public's attention as the runner-up in the inaugural season of the reality television music competition Operación Triunfo. Since his debut, he has established himself as a leading figure in the Latin pop genre, selling millions of records and achieving multi-platinum status across several continents.

Before his musical breakthrough, Bisbal pursued a variety of paths, including working in a plant nursery after leaving school early. His professional singing career began when he joined the Orquesta Expresiones, a touring ensemble where he developed his skills as a vocalist and performer. In 2001, he auditioned for the first edition of Operación Triunfo, a show designed to select Spain's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Although he finished in second place, the exposure launched his solo career and secured him a major recording contract.
