Ciara

Ciara Princess Wilson is an influential American singer, songwriter, and dancer who became a defining figure in R&B and pop during the early 2000s. Born in Fort Hood, Texas, her family eventually settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where she began her career in the music industry. After a brief stint in the girl group Hearsay, she pursued a solo path, befriending producer Jazze Pha. Their collaboration resulted in several demos that helped her secure a recording contract with LaFace Records.

In 2004, Ciara released her debut studio album, Goodies. The project was a massive commercial success, earning a triple-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and garnering two nominations at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards. The album's success established her as a leading voice in the "Crunk&B" subgenre.
