Sami Yaffa

Sam played bass in Pelle Miljoona and get his first gold record at the age of 16. During the tour he leaved the band and moved to Stockholm with Andy McCoy, another guitarist of Pelle Miljoona. In Stockholm they formed Hanoi Rocks with Michael Monroe, Gyp Casino & Nasty Suicide. Hanoi Rocks became the most popular finnish rockband. After 3 studio records Gyp Casino divorced and was replaced by Razzle. Guys in the band used a lot of drugs and were huge all over the world

except Africa and America where they finally landed in -84 to record the fifth album. After releasing "Two Steps From The Move" they toured in Asia, Europe and at last but definitely not least, America. After the gig in Syracuse they had to cancel a few shows because of Mike's broken ankle, so they decided to go to Los Angeles to see Mötley Crüe and that's the time when Razzle died in a car accident where Vince Neil lost the control of his car and crashed with terrible effects. Sam Yaffa leaved the band after Razzle's tribute gig, "Europe A Go-Go". After Hanoi he has been in several bands including Jerusalem Slim, Demolition 23 etc.. In -93 he recorded Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" to Coneheads movie soundtrack with Michael Monroe and Slash. Nowadays he's the bassist of New York Dolls and the guitarist of Mad Juana
