Ashley Cooke is an American country music singer-songwriter who has quickly risen to prominence through her relatable storytelling and modern approach to the genre. Born on June 12, 1997, in Parkland, Florida, Cooke moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music, eventually becoming one of the most successful independent-to-major-label transitions in recent years.

Cooke’s interest in music began at a young age, influenced by a variety of genres while growing up in Florida. She moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University, a prestigious institution known for its music business and performance programs. While a student, she won the university's Country Showcase, a high-profile competition that has served as a launching pad for several major country stars.

Following her graduation, Cooke utilized social media to build a direct connection with listeners. She co-founded The 615 House, a collaborative project on TikTok that brought together rising country artists to create content and share their music with a global audience. This digital-first strategy allowed her to build a significant following before signing a major record deal.
