History Celtic Dawn

1) Celtic Dawn was a Skinhead R.A.C band from Ireland and they formed in the late 80’s. They were originally an Oi! band called Skin Appeal, and in 1988 supported The Business. In 1989 the line up changed, singer was also replaced and band was renamed Celtic Dawn. The new singer was a NS and new material and name embodied that. Celtic Dawn played several very successful gigs in their hometown Dublin and in ‘91 they got to support Skrewdriver in their first UK show. Celtic Dawn recorded a 4 track demo that was never released, line up changed a few times throughout the years and when they recorded their debut album 'Faith & Fatherland' (Viking Records - Netherlands) they had a new line up once again.

2) Also the name of a German RAC band.
