Biography 山本達彦
Tatsuhiko Yamamoto is a Japanese pop, AOR, and jazz vocalist, lyricist, and composer from Shinjuku, Tokyo. Born in 1954, the singer was a member of the Tokyo Boys' Choir during his second year at the Gyosei Primary School. He started out his professional career performing in the band Orange, which disbanded in 1976. Yamamoto debut his first solo record, “Sudden Wind,” in 1978 and went on to release 30 albums and found his own label over the course of his career. He is considered a prominent figure in what has since become well-known as “city pop” music.
