2008 BBC Jazz Awards Band of the Year.
Curios were formed in 2006 by award-winning pianist and composer Tom Cawley. A piano trio, they play Cawley's original compositions. Their sound is influenced by romantic classical music as much as by jazz, and relies on a deep empathy between the players.
