The band was started in November 2004 by Evgeny Semenov. At first, it was one-man band, but in February 2005 Maksim Mazin has joined the band and Intaglio started to work on their first album.

The recording was totally completed at Summer 2005. In September it was mixed and mastered.

In autumn 2005 debut album was released by Solitude Productions and became the first funeral doom which was released in Russian underground
