History The Stow

Their cross pollination of genres, catchy songs and energetic performances have caused a stir on various stages across London including the prestigious HMV Hammersmith Apollo, Barfly Camden and everything in between and has also seen them support artists such as Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks and Maverick Sabre. Their presence has also been felt up and down the UK as a support act on VV Brown’s first tour in 2009 and touring across university campuses nationwide in 2011.

One of the many highlights in The Stow's young career was putting their stamp on the highly respected Camden Crawl by being named Best Live Act 2010 by the Emerging Talent Awards in conjunction with the Gaymers Camden Crawl and MTV as well as popping their Glastonbury cherry in the same year.

More recently, The Stow were named by MTV Brand New for 2012 as one of the 20 top unsigned acts to look out for this year and have been shortlisted for MOBO Unsung 2012 for the opportunity to perform on the MOBO tour.

With such a great start to the year, forget the year of the Dragon, 2012 is the year of The Stow!
